Momme is the weight of silk per unit of fabric. 22 momme is the dense, luxury grade: it feels heavier, blocks light better and lasts years. Most masks sold as silk are 16-19 momme or polyester satin.
Is it silk on both sides?
Yes. Front and back are 22 momme mulberry silk, including the padding cover.
How do I wash it?
Hand wash in cool water with a gentle detergent, rinse, press flat in a towel and dry away from direct heat. It takes a day, which is why most customers rotate two.
